Governance

FutureSteps has a strong governance framework. 

FutureSteps is independently administered by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Community Enterprise Foundation™, which operates as the philanthropic arm of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group.

The Trustee of the Foundation is Sandhurst Trustees, who have over 125 years of experience in best practice
governance and compliance.

The Trustee will receive recommendations from the FutureSteps Advisory Committee on the awarding of funds, and will ensure that all distributions comply with the relevant legal requirements and the assessment criteria for FutureSteps funding.

FutureSteps’ Advisory Committee will make recommendations on awarding funding based on its pre-agreed objectives. These recommendations will be independently reviewed by the Trustee who will be responsible for managing the process and funds.
